With over 20 years of design experience from large-scale hospitality properties to unique restaurant experiences, Chris Sheffield’s portfolio includes dozens of award-winning hotel, restaurant, and nightlife venues nationwide.

Prior to founding SLDesign in 2005, Sheffield served as principal in charge of hospitality, restaurant and retail design at Daroff Design, where he focused his attention on creating world-class destinations for many entertainment, restaurant and retail companies. His clients included Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and Busch Entertainment, Caesars Palace, Tropicana Casino and Resort, and Rainforest Café.

In addition to national speaking engagements and diverse interests in the design community, Sheffield also serves as an adjunct professor at Drexel University, where he teaches a graduate level class in hospitality design.
